Increased prescription charges

As you may have seen in recent news, the Government have increased the amount charged for NHS prescriptions. Charges for prescriptions and prepayment certificates will increase by 2.59% from Wednesday 1^st May 2024.

A prescription will cost £9.90 for each medicine or appliance dispensed; this is a total increase of 25 pence.
