Flu Vaccinations

The flu vaccination helps to provide protection again flu, which can cause a range of different symptoms or in some cases serious illness.  The vaccination is offered to eligible patients on an annually.  

Who is eligible to receive the vaccine?

• Pregnant women.
• Children aged 2-3 years old.
• Patients under 18 years old with a chronic disease.
• Patients aged 65 or over.

Eligible patients will receive an invite from the surgery informing them that they can book their annual vaccination via the NHS app or by contacting the Reception Team on 01254 919888.  

Please note that we will be starting to invite patients in the coming weeks, starting with the under 18s.  If you do not fall into the under 18 category, you should expect your invite a little later.
